OUR STORY

A newspaper ad seeking a farm dealer caught the eyes of brothers Dominick, Frank and John Calidonna. In no time at all, they became representatives of a Ford Farm and industrial equipment dealership.

The business was incorporated and then they purchased the 4-acre parcel formerly the site of Clinton Outdoor Skating rink, a 100' x 70' build, was constructed. They started with 5 employees which included the 3 brothers.

Put on an addition to extend the building further back and put in more mechanic bays.

Took on the New Idea line of equipment and then decided to sell the family dairy cows and fully focus on the equipment dealership.

In 1970 we put on an addition to the right side of the building to add parts storage and an inside showroom. Then by 1978 we became New Holland Hay equipment dealers as John Jr. graduated from High School.

In 1982 we put on a covered porch area in front of the store to display equipment.

We became Uebler / Ferris dealers where they manufactured them in Vernon, NY

We became Knight dealers and then became Kuhn / Knight in the early 1990's

In 1997 we added on to the right side of the building to make new office space and parts storage.

In 2001Founding member John Calidonna Sr.'s children - John Calidonna Jr., Regina Martini, Chris Calidonna and Becky Calidonna take over complete ownership with running and managing day to day activities.

In 2010 we bought the neighboring Chevrolet dealership to create more service bays and equipment storage.

By 2011 we became Ventrac Dealers, purchased a building and put on an addition at Roberts Road in Clinton that we currently use as our setup shop. All new agriculture equipment starts there to get setup before coming to our main location.

We launched a complete business system computerizing the dealership.

Complete in-store remodel to create more sales space, offices and parts.

Now we have 65 employees with over 10 family members, selling / servicing hundreds of brands of agriculture, construction and residential equipment. We are still operating from the same footprint as the beginning in 1953

Building a new service facility on the current property to be able to better service the larger Agriculture and Construction Equipment more efficiently.
