With the KUHN SW 7664, capacity is no limit anymore. Twin satellite arms allow wrapping at twice the speed of single-arm models. The simple, patented, self-loading system gently picks up, wraps and unloads in one spot. The computer-controlled wrapper, with its unique concept, is the right solution for those who demand high-capacity and reliable performance. This model provides unmatched flexibility to wrap different sized bales, whether in round or square format.
Thanks to the unique drive-through concept, the wrapper is capable of loading the bales in both forward and reverse. This way you are able to pick up bales that are accidently dropped in a corner or along a fence line of the field.
The KUHN SW 7664 provides flexibility to wrap different sized bales, ranging from 31.5 to 47.24 inch (80 to 120 cm) width, a maximum height of 39.37 inch (100 cm) (3 x 4 bale) and a maximum length of 70.87 inch (180 cm). This can be done without changing any major settings. Round bales with a diameter of 49.21 inch (125 cm) (4 x 4 and 5 x 4) can also be wrapped without additional options. For added convenience, four different wrapping programs can be preset into the control box.
The two pair of steel rollers lift the bale horizontally in order to prevent soil contamination. The bale is automatically placed in the best position for wrapping. Computer controlled bypasses regulate the speed of the roller pairs when wrapping rectangular bales, to ensure an even and correct overlap around the complete bale. After wrapping the bale, it is gently unloaded in the same way it was picked up.
